Kuching, Sarawak : Ling Loong Seafood at Topspot Food Court.

Now this is confusing.

Topspot Food Court is on the 6th Floor and there are a few shops in this food court. You have Bukit Mata, ABC, Ling Loong and many more. And they have multiple shops in this food court.

It is within walking distance from Hilton and Pullman.

We returned from the Cat Museum and stopped at the start of Jln Padungan to visit The Big White Cat Statue.

As we walked thru Jln Padungan, I was getting hungry and it being 530pm, it was probably a good idea to eat dinner to skip the crowd.

Pick your seats and enjoy.

We settled on Ling Loong as recommended by my schoolmate Dr. Wilson who served the community of Kuching for a period of time a few years back.

Fresh seafood.

The River Prawns (Udang galah) was prices at RM95 per kilo.

The Lobster was going for RM140 per kilo.

All reasonable prices.

This sotong was so so. I would order the grilled or fried version next time.

This is midin, a local vegetable. Fried in sambal belacan and it is awesome.

Fresh clam soup. The sweetness of the clams in the soup makes this a delicious dish to complement your rice.

2 udang galah at RM35. So fresh and you can taste the aroma of the prawns. This is fried butter garlic. Well worth it. Next trip, I am clearing stock.

The oysters were fried on a large egg-flour cracker. Dip in the salty sauce and this would be perfect for a large group whilst downing some beer watching a football match.

All this for RM91. Perfect.
