If you come to Sarawak, you need to eat Kolo Noodles and Sarawak Laksa. No trip to Sarawak would be complete if you did not have these two.
It was late morning by the time I woke up from my Hilton microfibre-pillow slumber.
A quick check and we decided to walk from Hilton to Chong Choon Cafe.
275, Jalan Chan Chin Ann, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Apparently, this is a temporary site.
From Hilton, you will pass by one of the iconic statues of Kuching.
Next to City Inn, you will spot Chong Choon Cafe.
Go grab a seat.
Head to this stall for Kolo Mee.
Do not let this bowl fool you. It is a deep bowl and there is a large quantity of noodles. You will have your fill!
Our appetite has shrunk thru the past 4 months so I would share this.
The other attraction here is Laksa.
The crowds had reduced by the time we started eating, being here at late morning has its benefits. The other risk is the shops may start closing.
No meal is complete in Sarawak without Teh-C-Special. This is awesome.
