Hong Kong accommodations do not come cheap. Expect to pay a premium for a small compact room that is purely functional.
I expect double beds at best. Unless you splurge for top end 5 star accommodations, Hong Kong is not a stay-cation destination.
Ibis branded hotels do give some sort of standard and such a large group would uphold the standards.
As I walked thru the small room, I had a feeling this was just a branded Ibis hotel which took over a previous establishment.
The room was very compact and quite quaint. Like I said, do not expect a stay-cation rated hotel. Just a functional room.
Hong Kong would have us up and about the entire day and the plus side was that Northpoint MTR station was just 40 meters away from the hotel entrance. So this was just enough.
