Another gem in Klang, heading further west from the city center of Klang, you will chance upon a bakery cum cafe on Jln Turi. This bakery is known for apple strudels with the recipe hailing from Australia.
Tucked in a corner lot surrounded by car repair workshops, you will find this cafe, the last standing bastion and probably the headquarters of Fruity. They used to have a cafe in Shah Alam but they have since restructured to focus on business in Klang only.
There is a wide array of rich flavorful cakes. Each cake here is 2kg and costs range from RM 50 onwards.
There are many pastries on offer and each priced around Rm3 to Rm6.
This cream puff was very light and flaky.
The cheese and blueberry mix is individual yet not overpowering. The cheese is not salty or overwhelming.
The star of the shop is the apple strudels. The light and flaky strudels flanked with apple and vanilla cream is a blessing to the sweet at tooth.
It was my friend’s birthday and we got her a chocolate cake. Happy Birthday Czarina!!
A loaf of Apple Strudels will cost you RM26 and can be cut into 6 pieces. Each piece is priced at RM7. I highly recommend this place. A bit far from Kuala Lumpur and even further than the Seng Huat Bah Kut Teh that is Under The Bridge.
