After Concorde, we looked at our travel book and headed to la Madeleine, a Roman Catholic church.
Taking the Metro from Concorde to Madeleine, we exited up on street level. We looked left and was greeted by a large wall. Walking around it, you tend to see how large this Church is. It is majestically build to honor Napoleon’s army.
Roman architecture inspired Madeleine.
I was very happy to see the flowers bright and blooming. It made the view more special.
The church has daily masses and if you asked me, it was one of the more-filled churches.
Many light candles for their prayers.
Just be aware of the gypsy and pickpockets around these tourist areas.
Off to the next location. Thankfully, the Metro is just next to the church.
