The annual Putrajaya Floria exhibition is an event hosted at Precinct 2 Putrajaya. The first time this event was held was back in 2007 and recently in 2009. Due to positive public response, Floria is back again this year.
If you have a passion for anything flora ranging from daisies to orchids to chrysanthemums to floral sculpturing, please head on down to Floria Putrajaya. There is ample parking around the area and if you are hungry, there are numerous stalls at the bazaar area. As you head down to the exhibition area, you will be greeted by many horticulture enthusiasts setting up in booths to market their products ranging from orchids, seeds, potted plants and fertilizers.
Beyond that, you will be able to admire a colorful carpet of flowers arrayed in their beauty. For bonsai enthusiast, there is an area especially for you.
As with all flower exhibitions, please fight the urge to pick and pluck. Do remember to bring sun block and an umbrella in case the weather changes.
If the going gets hot, run into the air-conditioned exhibition and let your body recuperate from the heat and glare of the sun.
Did I tell you that I freak out at reptiles?
This exhibition ends on the 18th July 2010. As always, bring your camera. Don’t miss it. It will bring color to your life.
