Thailand : Wat Chalong, Phuket


It is said that the Wat Chalong is the most important temple of the 29 temples in Phuket. It is also the largest temple in Phuket. There will be many tourist here.

Set in a large compound, you will need some time to cover the area. Allocate about 45 minutes to an hour here.

Grand Pagoda.

The Grand Pagoda dominating the temple contains a splinter of Lord Buddha’s bone and is officially named Phramahathatchedi-Jomthaibarameepragat.

Respect and be quiet. You need to remove your shoes to enter. You also need to dress appropriately. Cover your legs, shoulders and belly.
